For multi-rooftop dealer enterprises
Compliance assurance at fleet scale.
Pheonix Shield gives in-house compliance teams an evidence-backed view of every storefront at each scheduled sweep — so issues are surfaced and remediated before they become enforcement actions, demand letters, or class complaints.
What changes when you adopt Pheonix
Visibility.
Every VDP, every store, at every scheduled sweep. Dashboards roll up by rooftop, region, brand, and state. Drill from a national compliance score down to a single mispriced page.
Speed.
When marketing pushes a campaign that creates an advertising violation, you see it within hours of the next sweep — not in a regulator's inquiry letter six months later.
Defensibility.
When you do remediate, the system preserves the before-and-after evidence. If anyone ever asks how long the page was up, you have the answer with a hash.
Roles served
General Counsel / Compliance Director
Network-wide visibility, statute-by-statute breakdown, audit trail of remediation. Export packages for outside counsel without re-running anything.
Marketing & Digital Retail
A pre-publication safety net. Configure VDP templates with the rules in mind. See which campaigns generated the most flags and adjust the next one.
Internal Audit
A defensible, replayable record of what was on the website on any given day, fingerprinted with a content hash and timestamp for chain-of-custody verification.
Regional Operations
Per-rooftop scoreboards. Identify outlier stores. Loop in the GM with specific findings.
Common scenarios
Scenario A — Pricing drift after an OEM incentive change.
A 22-rooftop group's MSRP-with-incentives display fell out of compliance with a state's stacking-disclosure rule when the OEM updated incentive eligibility. Pheonix flagged the issue across 1,800 VDPs within 24 hours of the next sweep. The group corrected its DMS template and re-ran the sweep to confirm; full before/after evidence retained.
Scenario B — “FREE” offer in a state that disallows the term.
A specials page used “FREE oil changes for life” — language disallowed by an advertising rule in one of the group's states. Pheonix flagged the page, cited the rule, and provided compliant alternative language pulled from the regulation summary.
Scenario C — Doc fee disclosure missing on mobile breakpoint.
The desktop disclaimer was compliant; the mobile breakpoint hid the disclosure under a collapsed accordion. Pheonix's headless captures rendered the mobile view, flagged the issue, and showed the dealer a screenshot of what a consumer on mobile actually saw.
Pricing & deployment
Pricing is by rooftop count and scan cadence. Most groups start with weekly scans across all VDPs and all rooftops, then expand to specials, financing, and disclaimer pages. Implementation is two to four weeks: roster ingest, URL inventory verification, sweep scheduling, training.
Talk to sales.
We'll scope rooftops, states, and scan cadence and map Pheonix reporting to your internal compliance workflow.
